At the heart of Ashley Wood Golf Club, Clubhouse 1896 is a welcoming place to eat, drink, relax and enjoy time with friends and family – and you don’t need to be a golfer or golf club member to visit us.

Since April 2017, Lee, Hannah and their team have been proudly welcoming members, visitors, friends and families through our doors. With great food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere at the heart of everything we do, we want everyone who visits to feel at home.

Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, settling in for lunch, stopping by for coffee and homemade cake, or enjoying a drink overlooking the course, there’s always a warm welcome waiting.

Our bright and spacious clubhouse enjoys beautiful views across the Dorset countryside, with a large patio overlooking the 18th and putting green – the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a sunny afternoon.

Clubhouse 1896 is also a place to celebrate. From private functions and special occasions at the clubhouse to outside catering, grazing tables, BBQs, pizzas and our mobile bar, our team can help make your next event one to remember.
